No job is too big or small for the friendly staff at Voodoo Ink!! Just call or better still, pop in and say hi! The shop is open 7 days a week from 11am to 7pm. Consultations are free of charge and recommended.

General Information

Trams from balaclava station straight down Carlisle St.
Trams from St.Kilda junction and the city straight into Acland St., St.Kilda. Easy walking distance from main Acland St. strip.

AFTERCARE

Keep wrapped for the first 2 hours.

Wash with warm soapy water after 2 hours.

Remove the soap by gently splashing the area with lukewarm water.

Do not rub the area with a washcloth or any other material.

Gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel, and apply a thin layer of BEPANTHEN (blue box)

Clean as directed 2 to 3 times per day for the next 4 days.

Do not be alarmed if your tattoo oozes for a few days after completion.

Some discomfort and swelling during the healing process is also normal.

It will take from 2 to 4 weeks for the tattoo to completely heal.

NO swimming
NO sunbathing
NO scratching it may become itchy
NO direct sunlight- can damage the tattoo
NO soaking in water

After the tattoo has healed, be sure to apply a sun block with a high level of SPF protection if you are going to be exposed to direct sunlight. Doing so prevents fading and sun damage to your tattoo.

If you care for your tattoo properly, it will remain in good condition for many years to come.
