History

The firm was established by Graham Walsh in 1976. Graham operated as a sole trader out of Southport and grew to a team of four before merging with Paul and Lynn Yates in 1988. The firm traded under the banner of Walsh & Yates until 2000.

In 2000, Tom Walsh became a partner and the firm again rebranded to become Walsh & Walsh Chartered Accountants.

In 2005, we moved from our office in Southport to our current location at the Pegasus Centre in Bundall. We found the need to provide a more functional facility for our clients and we also needed larger premises to cope with the expansion of our firm.

Even after relocating, the firm steadily expanded to the point where we were in need of more space. In 2011, we expanded to another office downstairs to our main office at the Pegasus Centre in Bundall.

Then in 2013, we welcomed Murray Kilpin as a partner of Walsh & Walsh. We’re thrilled to have him onboard to join Graham & Tom as partners of the firm. Currently, our firm consist of three directors, five administration, ten accounting, and one associated financial planner.

Walsh & Walsh Chartered Accountants has grown steadily over the years in its range of services, level of our staff, and both the number and diversity of clients.
