“Heres a tip for anyone wanting to use these people, get a fixed price for the agreed work. Was quoted a days work from them to replace some taps, install a laundry tub, vanity and shower screen at $80 per hour, totaling $640. However in reality, They turned up saying that it would be much quicker with 2 workers and shouldn’t take more than 5 hours. The result was that they charged for 7 hours for 2 workers at $70 per hour totaling $980 without installing the shower screen (the biggest job). The disappointing experience was further compounded by the fact that I referred them to a friend who also had the same feedback (it cost a lot more than was quoted). Whilst the time the workers were on-site I visited them once, only to find them having breakfast and a coffee (I have evidence to prove it as they left their rubbish behind) and waiting for stuff to happen (whatever that was), all I know is that it was included in the so called 7 hours billed. I met the workers at 7:30 in the morning and got a call from them just before 2 pm to say they had finished. This represents 6.5 hours or maybe it’s rounded up to the nearest hour.”
