“A bit more casual than what I’m used to, but definitely a bargain! I went here for a brazilian wax. I used to attend a well-to-do salon in Unley and paid $40 a visit. When I moved to Prospect I was looking at attending one salon nearby who are charging $70 for this service… You Little Beauty only charged me $20 because i leave a stripe! YLB is an independent salon operationg in a single room within a hairdresser, so there’s nowhere private to get changed and the beautician doesn’t leave the room- not good if you’re shy! The decor is pretty basic, there’s no money being wasted here on soothing music, feature walls or decorative wicker balls. It’s kind of like someone’s workshop and if the footy’s on, you might listen to that. My beautician answered the phone in the middle of my wax, which I wasn’t too impressed about, but otherwise did a thorough job and didn’t take too long. She was very friendly, happy to chat and had some very interesting stories to tell. I suppose you get what you pay for in some ways. You’ll get a good brazilian wax, but no frills, for $20-$30. I didn’t want frills down there anyway though really…”
