About John Garfield

Burleigh Natural Therapies, established in 2007, was a vision bought to fruition by owner John Garfield. It heralds the bringing together of a group of professional, dedicated, and diverse healthcare professionals offering state of the art health and healing modalities under the one roof. The professional centre is located at 1863 Gold Coast Hwy (cnr First Ave) Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia.

John Garfield has had over a decade of clinical experience in the field of Remedial Therapies. At an early stage he decided to specialize in helping with people’s suffering of muscular and skeletal pain. This has lead him on a learning journey to find and develop a treatment regime that can benefit the many systems of the body including:

• Muscular System (Along with its tendons )
• Skeletal System (Via our soft tissues including ligaments)
• Nervous System (Via our soft tissues)
• Fascial System (Our connective tissue. The body’s web)
• Lymphatic System (Body’s drainage for immunity & excretion of toxins)
• Cranio-Sacral System (Encouraging the optimal flow of spinal fluid)
• Visceral (Organ) System (Via our connective tissue that hold our organs in place)

Our body is very complex and a healing modality that can combine work on the above systems has a much higher chance of success. The techniques of Garfield Soft -Tissue Therapy fulfil this void in modern therapies.

John has earned a reputation for treating difficult Muscle, Nerve, and Skeletal problems, with many of his clients travelling long distances for his treatments. He is an active sports person with a background in the fitness industry, once owning and operating a health & fitness centre in Brisbane. Clients range from new borns to retirees, to the elite athlete to your every day person. All have benefited from Garfield Soft -Tissue Therapy or Bowen Therapy.
