“I would not recommend the lash extensions at this place of business. My mother developed a severe allergic reaction which saw her end up in the emergency room where she spent hundreds of dollars on treatment and antibiotics. The doctor treating her said he sees at least 2 cases a week of women presenting themselves to emergency rooms for severe allergic reactions to glue used or material of lashes. When first received lashes my mother returned 7 days later complaining of itchiness and that some lashes had fallen out due to her itching, technicians proceeded to re-assure her that this was normal, and replaced the lashes that had fallen out and charge her for the extra lashes. Roughly a fortnight later, her eyes swelled up so badly and crusted over that she couldn’t see, let alone drive herself to hospital. When I contacted the salon and asked for a refund for my mother out of good faith, the request was rejected and the salon owner claimed that my mother signed a disclaimer that states the customer needs to report an allergic reaction 24 to 48 hours after the service otherwise anything after that is not their responsibility. My mother didn’t have a full blown allergic reaction until 2 weeks after first application, but had reported itchiness to their technicians a week after. My mother has now lost all of her natural eyelashes and has damaged hair follicles, has been told by doctor they may never grow back. Be warned!”
