“I’ve been going here on and off for years but the staff have changed and it’s gone so downhill – the drill burnt from then going to fast, she kept pulling and shoving my hand around saving I was too tense – yeh that’s because she was filling my skin ���I left with acrylic all over my fingers and very unhappy – she then started to push the following lady around f telling her she wasnt sitting straight enough – I’ve noticed twice now the staff having this type of attitude and as a business owner myself I know once a culture within a work place starts like this it’s very hard to fix – will not be back”

“Went to Professionail to get my nails refilled and the technician asked where I had got them done previously and I told him opal nails and he told me that the last lady who did them had drilled into my nails and left red indents on every one of my nails, pretty disappointing if you ask me”

“I will not go back again . I had heard that it was amazing but was really let down. Both my mother and I went to the nail parlor I got acrylics with shilac, had to go home and reshape as I noticed that 4-5 were not shaped correctly after leaving the shop . My mothers sns was very thick and the overall experience was uncomfortable. I also found the staff quite rude.”

“I will never go back here and neither will my mother in law or sister in law. Aside from being treated like we were on some sort of assembly line – even having made appointments, we were rushed through our pedicures and left sitting and waiting and had to ask about our manicure appointments. When someone finally came over to help us, we were seated at benches across the room from each other. We had booked this so we would get our treatments together, not be unable to chat through it all. My manicurist cut my fingers in two different places, which I said nothing about, but when she filed my nails crooked and I asked for them to be fixed she spoke in a language that I don’t know to her partner working on a lady beside me. It was the poorest manicure I have ever gotten and most certainly the worst service I have had to endure during my time in Australia. I know tipping isn’t as common here as it is back home in Canada, but perhaps if it was the service industry might sit up and take more attention. Thoroughly disgusted. My advice, do not waste your money or your time.”

“I was recommended this place as a top notch salon, that was incomparable to Professional Nails. Turns out that Opals is a subsidiary company that started up after the crackdown on Professionals. It had a factory ambiance that certainly made us feel that we were a nuisance. On top of this, my mother (who has NEVER had her nails done, and only did it as a massive treat to herself) contracted a nail fungal infection that now needs medical treatment. BEWARE! Pay the higher price for the knowledge that you will have sanitised utensils used on your nails.
And I tried to give this review a no star rating, but it wouldn’t let me. It is not even worth one star.”
