As a graduate of The University of Sydney, Bernadette Hitchen has worked as a Principal Physiotherapist in Private practice and has been proudly providing professional and quality service.

Being a former representative netball player, Bernadette’s diverse range of experience in Sports Physiotherapy includes Men’s Premiere League Soccer and Women’s State League Netball. Bernadette also has extensive knowledge and works with dancers of all genres. She has an exceptional outlook upon the injury prognosis for these patients. Bernadette has had extensive experience in Workers Compensation and Third Party Claims. She has worked with Multi National companies such as Downer EDI, Bunnings and CGU.
Bernadette is extensively trained in the assessment, diagnosis and comprehensive management of all musculoskeletal problems.

Predominantly, Bernadette uses hands on treatment techniques to promote, restore and maintain physical function, Bernadette can provide advice on self-management and home exercise programs to maintain well-being and empower the individual which will promote optimal quality of life.
