“I’d highly recommend getting hydrotherapy for rehab following any sort of mobility-related surgery / treatment, at the earliest possible opportunity. With a chair which can lift you into the pool if walking is not possible, the hydrotherapy here can start even before you’re allowed to fully weight-bare, helping to speed up the recovery process, by keeping the body moving, minimizing muscle wastage and helping speed up movement when weight-bearing is allowed. I wish I had have known about this is an option much earlier in my recovery process! The physios provide customized routines, depending on the need, to help with recovery, and when you’re ready, they will provide a routine for you to follow by yourself (with checkups with the physio as time progresses). The physios do all they can to help speed recovery.”
