Our Story

Alexandra and Donna met as yoga teachers over seven years ago. Their friendship grew when they shared travel together up to Lennox Head to attend courses offered by Universal Medicine. They soon realised that there was going to be more to their relationship than a simple friendship.

Having run their own individual businesses for many years, a common purpose in life and interest in health and well-being, they came together to form Yoga & Healing in 2013. The intention of Yoga & Healing was to share with others what they have discovered and now live for themselves: that there is a different way to live, a way where the usual calamities of life do not need to be there and where the connection to self, a return towards true health, well-being and love can be deepened on a day to day basis.

Through Yoga & Healing, Alexandra Plane and Donna Gianniotis offer individuals (both adults and children), groups and organizations the Complementary Health and Healing services of Yoga, Meditation, Esoteric Healing, Esoteric Connective Tissue Therapy and Massage from a place of up-most professional integrity and love.

Our Approach

We are in the field of health-care, healing and well-being, working side by side with conventional medicine, supporting people with illness, dis-ease and/or dis-harmonious conditions and those wanting to deepen their sense of well-being and/or inner connection with self.

We consider the whole – taking into consideration the physical, emotional, mental and energetic levels. We assist people in addressing the root cause being their symptoms/issues and guide them to explore how re-connecting to themselves/their body, building conscious presence and gentleness in body and breath can lead to true health. For an organization, increasing its employees’ well-being leads to better service to the community and greater productivity.

Our Services

The healing modalities we offer are complementary to conventional medicine. They are gentle, non-imposing and provide a safe, nurturing space for people to stop, feel where they are at and reconnect to their inner presence and body. They work with the being and its body to assist in its own healing.  Each session provides an opportunity for our client to expand their awareness, re-develop their ability to understand the language of the body and listen to it.

Alexandra Plane and Donna Gianniotis are committed to their continuing personal and professional development to bring the highest quality of integrity to their services. They are fully accredited by the EPA (Esoteric Practitioner Association) and as such have made an ongoing commitment to a healthy, honest and responsible way of living.
